Netania Vidal is a Maltese ceramic artist specialising in wheel throwing, hand-building, and sculptural ceramics. Her passion for making began in childhood, inspired by her grandfather, a skilled carpenter whose craftsmanship sparked her appreciation for creating objects by hand.

Netania pursued her artistic education at the MCAST Institute for the Creative Arts, where she was first introduced to ceramics. Over the years, she has developed her practice through both academic study and professional experience, working as a craftsman for two years and as a ceramics instructor for the past five years while continuing her education.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Fine Arts and is currently completing a Master's degree in Professional Education, combining her dedication to artistic practice with a passion for teaching.

As a ceramic artist, Netania's work is divided into two distinct areas. She creates functional homeware and contemporary tableware that celebrate craftsmanship and everyday use, while also developing sculptural and artistic ceramic pieces that explore form, texture, and personal expression. Through both her artwork and teaching, she aims to share the creative possibilities of clay and inspire others to engage with the ceramic process..
